Dr. Christiansen was raised in Richfield, Utah. He graduated from Snow College in 1983. He then went to BYU and graduated with a B.S. degree in Pre-dental Zoology in 1986. He served a 2-year LDS mission in Kobe, Japan.
Married, with four children and a growing number of grandchildren, Dr. Christiansen enjoys spending time with his family. He especially enjoys the peaceful surroundings at his family cabin up Fairview Canyon. Among his hobbies are fly fishing and BYU Cougar Sports. He is a Cougar Club member and can be found at most BYU basketball and football games.
Dr. Christiansen has been in practice for over 30 years. He attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Dental College, graduating in 1990. He received his specialty certificate in orthodontics in 1992.
Dr. Christiansen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Utah Dental Association, and Utah Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he graduated with honors. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Creighton University, where he also graduated with honors. He completed a Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, along with a Master of Science in Oral Sciences.
While attending Creighton University, Dr. Morris was awarded a coveted scholarship in the Idaho Dental Education Program. This program only accepts eight students in a year. In addition, Dr. Morris graduated from the Creighton University School of Dentistry with honors – Magna Cum Laude. While in orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Morris’ research was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Morris is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
While growing up in Eagle, Idaho, Dr. Morris developed an appreciation for the great outdoors and has a passion for fly fishing and fly tying. His love of the outdoors also resulted in him achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. In addition to his interest in outdoor activities, Dr. Morris also has a love for music and sports. Over the years, he has played basketball and enjoys watching sporting events. Dr. Morris has developed his skills on the guitar as well as composing music and playing in numerous bands. Now residing in Orem, Utah with his wife and two daughters, Dr. Morris enjoys spending time with his family, teaching his daughters how to fly fish, and sharing his love of music with them.
Before arriving in Utah, Dr. Morris practiced in Illinois for the last four years as a co-owner of an orthodontic practice.
